At the end of May and early June, the HKRC team visited the home to pack large items. Glass items (about 4 feet in size) were carefully wrapped and then secured in wooden crates at the warehouse for extra protection. The packing quality was very high and safe.
Delivery to the UK
The shipment went on board in mid‑June. The belongings then travelled by sea and in early September the UK transport partner notified me of the delivery window. By mid‑September everything had arrived at my home safely. There was no damage. A few boxes were slightly dented, but there was no bursting of boxes. The use of double‑cardboard packing boxes was very impressive. They were very strong and practical.
