General customs guidelines:
- All imported goods must be declared to customs and accompanied by a detailed inventory list.
- Personal-use household items are generally eligible for duty-free importation, subject to local customs regulations.
- Certain items such as food, plants, medications and restricted goods may require special permits.
- Keep purchase receipts and proof of value for all items to facilitate customs clearance.

The following items may be restricted or prohibited from import. Please consult our specialists before shipping:
Prohibited items
• Animals and their products: Fresh fruits, vegetables, raw meat, poultry, fish; Eggs, egg products, dairy products; Wildlife products (ivory, rhinoceros horn, pangolin scales); Plant seeds, soil, potted plants. • Foodstuffs: Unlicensed meat products, egg products Certain traditional Chinese medicinal materials • Psychiatric medications: Certain prescription sleeping pills, sedatives (may be restricted without a doctor's certificate) • Chemicals: Hazardous chemicals, highly toxic substances Pesticides, insecticides (even in small quantities) • Dangerous drugs: Class 1 and Class 2 drugs such as heroin, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, ketamine, etc. • Counterfeit currency: Any counterfeit banknotes (even toy money)
Prohibited items
• Firearms and Ammunition: Pistols, rifles, air guns, pellet guns, bullets (including souvenir replica guns) • Regulated Implements: Stun guns, tear gas, handcuffs, batons, spring-loaded knives • Radio Communication Equipment: Drone remote controllers (require Trade and Industry Department license), Walkie-talkies, shortwave radios, drones (require Communications Authority license)
Important reminders
